NanoSoft's patented (pending) hybrid grid box design optimizes the grid box layout so that both unclipped grids and autogrids are stored securely, while also easy to place and remove from the sample pocket. The workflow is simplified, where a single grid box replaces the multiple grid boxes previously needed, simplifying record keeping and reducing required inventory maintainenance of multiple grid box types.
 
NanoSoft's transluscent blue pin lid is the optimal geometry for use of NanoSoft's hybrid grid box in all Thermo Fisher Scientific cryoEM workflow stations (Clipping Station, Cassette Loading Station). The slightly smaller diameter allows for completely unencumbered access to all unclipped grid and autogrid pockets in all stations. NanoSoft's hybrid grid box also works with other pin lids, however they may interfere slightly with access to samples.
