NanoSoft's patented Hybrid Grid Box design now made of metal. The only cryoEM grid box that has dedicated diamond-shaped pockets for 4 unclipped grids and 4 rectangular pockets for after they are clipped, now made with all of the benefits of metal grid boxes (robust, more compatible with sterilization/cleaning, etc.).  The optimized design securely cradles samples while allowing for easy placement and removal from pockets, and also enables simple organization - 4 unclipped grids in a row, directly across from which is a row of 4 autogrid pockets, making traceability straightforward (once a grid is clipped, move it to the autogrid pocket directly across from the diamond pocket). All unclipped grids are secure in their individual pockets, while there are 2 pockets for autogrids, each housing 2 autogrids; the shift in the axis of the pocket guarantees that tweezers grabbing one autogrid cannot accidentally contact and damage the neighboring autogrid in the same pocket. 6 different colors and a unique serial number on each makes higher-level organization easier in storage puck/dewar systems.
