The grid box holder for the Leica EM GP2 has a pocket for a grid box that is very shallow, which has minimal grasp on grid boxes under LN2 and leads to the grid box easily coming out of position. NanoSoft's larger grid box holder has a deeper pocket (same depth as grid box pockets in other NanoSoft or Thermo Fisher workstations), resulting in more reliable grid box containment in the station.
